These Terms govern your use of thicosilks.in (the “Website”) and purchases made on it. The Website is operated by Thirubuvanam Silk Handloom Weavers Co-operative Production and Sale Society Ltd. (Reg. No. Z.322) (“Thico Silks”, “we”, “us”). By using the Website or placing an order you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility and accounts

You must be 18 or older, or use the Website under the supervision of a parent or guardian. You may shop as a guest or create an account. You are responsible for keeping your login details and OTPs confidential and for all activity under your account.

2. Products

Our sarees are handwoven by weavers of the Society. Slight variations in colour, weave, motif placement and zari shade are natural characteristics of handloom work and are not defects. Product photographs are indicative; colours may appear differently depending on your screen. Many of our sarees are one-of-a-kind pieces.

3. Prices and taxes

All prices are in Indian Rupees (₹) and include GST. Shipping charges, if any, are shown at checkout before payment. We may change prices and offers at any time; the price that applies is the one shown when you place your order. If a price is displayed incorrectly because of an obvious error, we may cancel the order and refund you in full.

4. Orders and payment

An order is confirmed only after successful payment. Payments are processed securely by CCAvenue (Infibeam Avenues Ltd.); we do not see or store your card, UPI or net-banking credentials. Cash on Delivery is not available. We may decline or cancel an order (with a full refund) if an item becomes unavailable, if we suspect fraud, or if the delivery address cannot be served.

5. Discounts, coupons and ePattu

Offers, Society/Government rebates and coupons are subject to their stated conditions and validity, cannot be exchanged for cash and may not be combined unless stated. Benefits of the “Ellorukkum Pattu” (ePattu) savings scheme are redeemed in our showroom when the scheme is closed, under the ePattu scheme terms, and do not apply to online orders.

6. Shipping, returns and cancellations

Delivery is currently available within India only. Please read our Shipping Policy and Return, Refund & Cancellation Policy, which form part of these Terms.

7. Intellectual property

All content on the Website — designs, photographs, text, logos and the “Thico Silks” name — belongs to the Society and may not be copied or used commercially without our written permission.

8. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Website, attempt unauthorised access, post unlawful or misleading reviews, or interfere with its operation.

9. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. Nothing in these Terms limits your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at [Kumbakonam / Thanjavur], Tamil Nadu shall have jurisdiction.
